Terry Schmidt

After earning All-America honors in the Ball State defensive secondary in 1973, Schmidt spent 11 seasons in the National Football League. After setting a school record with 13 interceptions, Schmidt played in the All-America Football Game and the East-West Shrine Bowl before being drafted by New Orleans.
He spent two seasons with the Saints, earning NFL All-Rookie honors in 1974. He played nine seasons with the Chicago Bears, for whom he started 73 consecutive games between 1978-1982.
