Decker was a four-year member of the women’s volleyball team from 1988-91, and was an All-Mid-American Conference First-Team and Academic All-MAC First-Team choice in 1990-91. She completed her career as the all-time Ball State leader in kills (1,442), kills per game (3.88), and total attempts (3,611). Upon her BSU graduation, Decker became the first Ball State female student-athlete to compete at the U.S. Olympic Festival.
