Randy Boarden earned four letters as a member of the Ball State men’s basketball team from 1975-79. He was Ball State’s Most Valuable Player in 1978-79, after completing his senior season ranked third in career scoring and second in career rebounding.

Boarden tallied 1,290 career points and exactly 1,000 career rebounds. He was a 1979 All-Mid-American Conference Second-Team choice after earning honorable mention in 1976 and 1978. As a senior, he ranked second in the conference in rebounding with a 10.6 average, third in field goal percentage with a .546 mark, and tied for 13th in scoring with 13.1 points per game.

Boarden is a major accounts executive for Danka Office Imaging, where he has worked in a variety of positions since 1986. He and his wife, LaTanza, have two sons.
