Morry Mannies

Mannies was the “Voice of the Cardinals” for over 30 years, having broadcast more than 1,000 Ball State football and basketball games over Muncie radio station WLBC. He was selected Sportscaster of the Year in 1985 by members of the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association and has received Career Service Awards from both the Indiana Basketball and Football Coaches Associations. In 1982, Mannies received the Ball State “Benny Award” for his service to the university.
