Mitch Hoban

Hoban was a football letterman for the Cardinals from 1973-76 and was a member of Ball State's first team to compete in the MAC in 1975. He helped the Cardinals to the school's first-ever conference title in 1976 with a 4-1 league mark.

Hoban, an offensive lineman, was named to the 1976 Associated Press All-America Third Team. A two-time All-MAC selection, he helped head coach Dave McClain's Cardinals to a 9-2 overall record in 1975 and an 8-3 overall mark in 1976. He was a part of teams that compiled a 28-14-1 overall record in his career and an 8-3 ledger in the school's first two years of MAC play.
