John Noble

John Noble earned four letters in tennis from 1986-90 and helped the Cardinals to four straight MAC Championships. As a senior, Noble won the MAC’s No. 1 singles title for a second straight season and was named to the all-league squad for a second consecutive year. He teamed with Scott Campbell to win the No. 1 doubles conference title as a senior plus won the 1988 No. 6 singles title as a sophomore. Noble compiled a 104-53 overall singles record in four seasons, which ranks as the fourth best career mark in Ball State history. He is one of only five Ball State players to record over 100 singles wins.
In addition, Noble has produced and participated in over 20 theatrical productions across the U.S. and overseas. He is a two-time Tony Award Winner in production for “Best Revival of a Play” (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest) in 2001, and for “Best New Musical” (Thoroughly Modern Millie) in 2002.
