A member of five Mid-American Conference Track and Field Championship teams from 1998-2001, Jada Phelps won three MAC Indoor titles in the long jump (1999 & 2001), along with the 400m Dash (2001). She was also crowned three times as a MAC Outdoor Champion in the 200m Dash (2000), Long Jump (2000) and 400m Dash (2001).

Phelps earned All-American accolades in the long jump in 2000 while also participating at the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the same event that year.

Phelps' name is still etched into the Ball State record books in the 4x400m relay outdoors and indoors.
