Kehoe, an Assistant Athletic Director at Ball State, lettered on the Cardinal football team as a halfback for four years between 1946 and 1949, establishing four school records, which still stand. In 1949, he led Indiana’s colleges in scoring and was named to the all-state team as Ball State managed its only unbeaten, untied pigskin campaign via an 8-0-0 ledger.
