Emily Sallee

Emily Sallee lettered as a setter in women’s volleyball at Ball State from 1997-2000 and completed her career as the school’s all-time leader in assists with 6,408. In fact, she set the career assist record and became the Mid-American Conference’s career assist leader in October of her junior season. Sallee’s career assist average of 13.84 set the NCAA Division I record, and helped her get featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd in 2000. The 1999 MAC Player of the Year and 1997 MAC Freshman of the Year, Sallee earned All-MAC First-Team honors three straight seasons. Sallee, who started every game of every match in her four years, helped the Cardinals to three MAC Championships (1997, 1998, 1999), one MAC Tournament title (1999), and two NCAA Championships (1999, 2000).
