Yestingsmeier, was the dean of Mid-American Conference sports information directors and contributed 20 plus years to Ball State, as well as, the Cardinals’ head golf coach. His links squads posted a record of over 200 wins versus only 50 losses, captured 38 tournament titles, including four conference championships in three different leagues, and earned NCAA Championship Tournament berths seven times.
