Wesley was a member of the men’s basketball team from 1984 through 1988 and was an All-MAC First-Team choice in 1988 after earning Second-Team honors in 1987. Wesley also was named to the Academic All-MAC in 1987 and 1988 and was one of only nine players in conference history to be named to the All-MAC and Academic All-MAC teams in the same season. He was Ball State’s MVP as a senior after ranking third in the league in scoring and 10th in rebounding. As a junior, Wesley was BSU’s co-MVP after ranking fifth in the conference in scoring. He completed his career ranked third at Ball State in career scoring with 1,729 points, which placed him 13th on the MAC’s all-time scoring chart. Wesley scored in double figures in 89-of-114 games in his career, including the final 41 contests. He scored 20 or more points in 34 games and over 30 points four times. Wesley started 100 games in his career, including a stretch of 82 in a row.
