Yaroch, who earned both All-MAC and Academic All-MAC first-team honors in football as a senior at Ball State, quarterbacked the Cardinals to their first MAC football championship in 1976. Nationally, he ranked sixth in quarterback rushing, 14th in total offense, and 28th in scoring to earn All-America honorable mention in 1976. Following his 1977 graduation, Yaroch received a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.
