University Track at Briner Sports Complex

Namesake:
Ken and Peggy Briner, who provided the lead gift for the complex. They are longtime supporters of Ball State athletics who are members of the Cardinal Varsity Club's Hall of Fame level of giving.

Year completed: 1970, renovated 2012

Originally opened in 1970, University Track at the Briner Sports Complex was renovated as part of the opening of the Briner Sports Complex in 2012.

As part of the renovation, a new press box and storage facility was built on the back stretch.

Other recent addition include a digital video board in turn two, completely updated throwing rings, painting of the track surface and a new sound system.
