Led the Ball State transition from a 4-3 to 3-4 base defense in 2018 … posted a winning record as WKU’s head coach in five of his seven seasons … 2004 Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year finalist (FCS) … helped the Hilltoppers reach No. 1 in the FCS polls twice during the 2005 season … both the 2003 and 2004 WKU teams advanced to the FCS playoffs … developed 20 all-conference players as a head coach … part of WKU team that won the 2002 FCS national championship … served as WKU’s defensive coordinator under legendary coach Jack Harbaugh… helped Western Illinois pull off a 28-23 upset at Northern Illinois in 2016

Lettered three years and was a two-year starter at strong safety for Butler … helped the Bulldogs win their conference championship in 1991 and 1992 and advance to the NCAA Division II playoffs in 1992 … earned the team’s Tenacity Award in 1992 and 1993.
