Ball State Baseball Hosting First Pitch Dinner

First Pitch Dinner | Kids Camp
The Ball State baseball team is hosting its First Pitch Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 3, which will feature guest speaker Bryan Bullington, who was the first overall selection in the 2002 Major League Baseball draft.
Tickets can be purchased at the link above, with general admission for $75 and ages 18 and under for $25. Corporate sponsor tables go for $600. The dinner will be held at the Alumni Center.
The evening's festivities include a team autograph session, where the first 300 kids get a free schedule poster, starting at 5 p.m., followed by a social hour at 6 p.m. and buffet dinner at 7 p.m. The night concludes with Bullington's speech at 8:45 p.m. and Coach Rich Maloney's closing remarks.
Ball State won its second Mid-American Conference Tournament title in 2023 to advance to its fourth NCAA Tournament in program history. The Cardinals return First Team All-MAC outfielder Decker Scheffler and All-Defensive Team catcher Hunter Dobbins in 2024.
A kids camp will be held earlier in the day at the Scheumann Family Indoor Practice Facility. The camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and ages 6-12 are welcome to attend. A link to register can also be found above.
