Fraley Named To United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Second Team

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State junior forward Lexi Fraley continued to earn praise for her stellar 2023 campaign, claiming a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Second Team.

"I'm excited for Lexi for being recognized in the region and for representing our team well," head coach Josh Rife said. "The heart that she displays on the field is always evident and it's great to see her honored for it. This recognition speaks to the collective work our team put together this year and I couldn't be prouder of the group effort."

The first player in program history to be named Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Fraley ranked third in the league and is currently 55th nationally with 10 goals this season. She earned All-MAC First Team honors for the second straight season after tying for the league lead with 59 shots and ranking second with 30 shots on goal.

In addition to her 10 goals, the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection dished out three assists and led Ball State's forwards with 1,427 minutes of play. Her 23 total points were fifth in the league.

Fraley, who became just the sixth player in program history to score double digit goals in a single season, is currently tied for sixth in program history with 19 career goals. In addition, her 43 career points (19 goals / 5 assists) are seventh all-time.
