Mark Your Calendars: Gymnastics Releases 2023 Schedule

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Fans of the Ball State gymnastics program can mark their calendars for Sunday, December 11, when the Cardinals unofficially open the 2023 season with its Red vs. White meet inside Worthen Arena.

The annual intrasquad meet will be the first of five opportunities for fans to cheer on their Cardinals inside "The Nest" this coming season. The best part, admission is FREE to all Ball State Gymnastics home meets.

Overall, Ball State will take part in 11 regular season meets before heading to Kent State for the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships held March 18 at the M.A.C. Center.

After opening the regular season with four meets on the road, a quad meet at Florida (Jan. 6), at Rutgers (Jan. 14), in the Tennessee Collegiate Classic (Jan. 20), and at Eastern Michigan (Jan. 22), the program returns home Jan. 29 to host the Ball State Quad featuring Fisk, Pittsburgh, and Southeast Missouri State.

The Cardinals also host Northern Illinois on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 12), Central Michigan (Feb. 26), and close the regular season at home versus Western Michigan (March 12).

Ball State's remaining road competitions are at Kent State (Feb. 19), a tri meet at Bowling Green (March 3), and a quad meet at Missouri (March 10).

Following the MAC Championships on March 18, the Cardinals have the opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Regionals (March 29-April 1), which will be split up between four predetermined sites.

The top two teams, along with the top event specialists and all-around performer from a non-qualifying team at each regional, will advance to the 2023 NCAA Championships on April 13-15 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
