Cardinals Add Joan Easter To Track Program

Joan Easter, one of the top jumps athletes in Indiana, is joining the Ball State track & field program. Easter will be a freshman this coming fall after her career at Northwestern High School.Â
A Galveston, Indiana, native, Easter made the state finals in the long jump as a sophomore and senior (the 2020 meet didn't take place). She recently placed 8th in the state in long jump. Her top marks are 5.52m in the long jump and 1.62m in the high jump.Â
She was the 2021 conference champion 100m, 200m and long jump.Â
