Women’s Tennis Has Successful Fall Season; Wraps Up Play At Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Ball State women's tennis team wrapped up its fall portion of its fall season after finishing play Sunday afternoon at the Louisville Classic.
The Cardinals had a successful fall and have high hopes for the spring. The reigning 2021 Mid-American Conference Champions will host the 2022 MAC Tournament this year on the campus of Ball State (April 30-May 1).
Ball State only played five singles matches today against Depaul. The Cardinals took three of the five from the Blue Demons. Jessica Braun, who was victorious both in doubles and singles this weekend, took down Mariya Jovicic, 6-0, 6-1 while her teammate Mariya Polishchuk registered a 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 10-8 win against Maddie Yergler. Rounding out the Cardinals victories today was Elena Malykh who beat Valentina Martin, 6-2, 6-2.
