Tremendous Support At Ball State Baseball's Golf Outing
October 26, 2020 | Baseball
Proud alumni and friends of Ball State baseball didn't let a little cold weather stop them from coming out to the program's annual golf outing October 18 at The Players Club in Muncie. More than 60 players took the course and shared the day with head coach Rich Maloney, athletics director Beth Goetz and a host of others close to the program.
"The guys were gamers!" head coach Rich Maloney said. "It just showed the love our supporters have for our baseball program. It was great to see so many friends on the golf course. We're thankful for those who made it and hope to see those who couldn't make it very soon."
Winning the outing for the third time with an impressive score of 55 was the group of Kyle Raleigh, Tyler Jordan, Clay Manering and BJ Butler. Those four played on the 2014 Ball State team that won the MAC regular season title.
