Men’s Golf Travels to Inverness Intercollegiate

The Ball State men's golf team will compete in the second event of its fall season Monday and Tuesday at the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, Ohio.

The three-round event opens with 36 holes Monday, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Inverness Club. Live scoring is available at birdifire.com.

Toledo is the host school for this week's 13-team event, which also includes Auburn, Duke, Virginia, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, Saint Mary's, Miami University, Bowling Green and Austin Peay.

Auburn (15), Virginia (22) and Duke (25) all finished among the top 25 in the Golfstat rankings last year.

Ball State's lineup will include Johnny Watts, Michael VanDeventer, Keegan McKinney, Michael Makris and Timothy Wiseman. Watts and McKinney led the Cardinals in the season-opening Wolf Run Intercollegiate, tying for 29th.
