Football Preseason Camp is Just Around the Corner

MUNCIE, Ind. – It's late July, which means the college football season is almost upon us. The Ball State football student-athletes return to campus on Wednesday, Aug. 3. The team will hold its first official practice on Thursday, Aug. 4 at Scheumann Stadium beginning at 2:30 p.m.

All preseason practices are open to the public. Cardinal supporters and media are more than welcome to attend practice.

Scrimmage time has been built into practices on Saturday, Aug. 13 and the following Saturday, Aug. 20. Ball State's annual Fan Jam is also scheduled for Aug. 20 at Scheumann Stadium from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Ball State football season opener is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 2 at Georgia State. This will be the Cardinals' first true road game in a season opener since 2005.
