VanDeventer, Wiseman Card Third-Round 72's at MAC

SYLVANIA, Ohio -- Timothy Wiseman and Michael VanDeventer carded rounds of 72 (+1) to pace the Ball State men's golf team Friday in the third round of the Mid-American Conference Championships.
The Cardinals also counted a 74 from Johnny Watts and a 77 from James Blackwell on the way to a team score of 295 (+11) for the day at Highland Meadows Golf Club.
Ball State remained in eighth place with a 54-hole total of 905. Wiseman continued to lead the team individually. He moved up two spots into a tie for 12th at 221 (+8). Watts (+13) is tied for20th, and VanDeventer (+14) is tied for 23rd.
Kent State stretched its lead to 15 shots with the low round of the day. The Golden Flashes have a 54-hole total of 864 (+12), while Eastern Michigan (+27) is second and Northern Illinois (+28) is third.
Joo-Young Lee of NIU maintained the top spot on the individual leaderboard. He is the only player under par at 212 (-1), two shots ahead of Eastern Michigan's Brett White.
