Ball State also has another senior thrower looking to solidify her spot at the MAC Outdoor Championships, as Michaela Hull enters the weekend ranked seventh in the league in the javelin throw (38.01m / 124'-8”) and 10th in the discus (44.94m / 147'-5”). Both marks were set at the IWU Polar Bear Invitational, with her discus effort being a career best distance.
Freshman Regan Lewis looks to turn in another solid performance in the high jump, as she enters the Ball State Challenge ranked ninth in the league by successfully clearing 1.67m (5'-5.75”) at the Stan Lyons Invitational (March 19). The effort is just shy of the MAC Championship standard of 1.68m (5'-6”).
Rounding out Ball State's top-ranked field athletes on the MAC performance list entering the weekend are senior Zenée Gadson and junior Gabrielle Perryman who are 12th (11.30m / 37'-1”) and 13th (10.85m / 35'-7.25”), respectively, in the triple jump.
