MBB to Host UT Martin Sunday Night in CIT Round Two

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State men's basketball team will host UT Martin on Sunday evening in the second round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Tipoff time is set for 6 p.m. at Worthen Arena.
Ball State earned its spot in the second round with a 78-73 victory in double overtime Tuesday at Tennessee State. The Cardinals overcame a 17-point deficit with solid defense and hot second-half shooting to improve to 20-13 on the season.
UT Martin advanced Wednesday night with a 76-73 win at Central Michigan. The Skyhawks, who are 20-14, will be the second consecutive Ohio Valley Conference opponent for Ball State. They shared the OVC West Division championship and reached the finals of the league tournament.
Ball State has won all three previous meetings with UT Martin, including the most recent matchup on the road in December 2011. The winner of Sunday's game will advance to the CIT quarterfinals.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and CollegeInsider.com. It will mark the first postseason home game for Ball State since a victory over South Florida in the first round of the 2002 NIT.
Ticket/Parking Information
Sunday's game will be a general admission event. Adult tickets are priced at $10 and youth tickets at $6. Tickets can be purchased at the Worthen Arena ticket office or by calling 1-888-BSU-TICKET. Postseason tournaments are not included as part of season ticket packages.
Ball State students will receive free admission with their student ID.
Parking for the game will be free.
