Women?s Golf Shares Lead at Bulldog Florida Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Ball State women's golf team is tied for first place, and Allison Lindley shares the top spot individually through one round at the Bulldog Florida Invitational.
The Cardinals posted a team score of 313 in Monday's opening round, matching Western Michigan for the best among the eight teams in the field. Tournament host Butler is 10 shots back in third place.
Lindley carded a 75 and shares the individual lead with Evansville's Kayla Katterhenry at Windsor Parke Golf Club.
Kelsey Sear (77) is tied for seventh, while Sydney Anderson (78) is tied for 12th. Kayla Adamson (79), competing as an individual, is tied for 14th.
The final round of the 36-hole event will be played Tuesday.
