Baseball Hosting Ontario Blue Jays Friday

MUNCIE, Ind. -- The Ball State baseball team will host the Ontario Blue Jays at 3 p.m. Friday in an exhibition game. It will be a 12-inning contest at the First Merchants Ballpark Complex, which has continued to undergo exciting renovations.
The Blue Jays are a Canadian amateur team that is currently traveling the United States to play exhibition games against various college teams.
Friday's game will kick off the baseball program's annual Alumni and Friends Weekend, which also includes Ball State's Homecoming football game Saturday and a golf outing Sunday at Delaware Country Club. Registration for the golf outing is available at bsubaseball15.eventbrite.com.
Saturday will feature a tailgate, starting at noon at the First Merchants Ballpark Complex, and Ball State's home football game versus Toledo at 3 p.m. All alumni will be recognized during the game. Following the game, Sullivan's Bar and Grill in Muncie will host post-game hospitality.
The baseball team's annual golf outing will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Delaware Country Club at the cost of $100 per player. The outing features a Florida Scramble format and includes gift, continental breakfast, golf cart, hole prizes, drinks and dinner.
