MUNCIE, Ind. – After two non-conference tests, the Ball State football team is set to open MAC competition this Saturday at Eastern Michigan. The game will be shown on ESPN3 beginning at 3 p.m.

Running backs Darian Green and James Gilbert have combined for 301 yards on the ground and seven rushing scores through two games. The duo is averaging 7.0 yards per carry.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Cardinals have posted 13 tackles for loss this fall. Nine players have been involved in a tackle for loss, led by junior DE Joshua Posley with four such stops. Ball State recorded three turnovers in its win against Eastern Michigan a year ago.
Eastern Michigan's offense has been clicking on all cylinders early in the 2015 campaign. The Eagles have piled up 82 points and 950 total yards in the team's first two contests. Last week at Wyoming, Eastern Michigan scored on six straight possessions on the way to a 48-29 victory.
