Paint the Town Red Extends From Muncie to Yorktown
August 11, 2015 | Football
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State football team was out in full force Tuesday afternoon, canvasing the streets of downtown Muncie and making an appearance at the Yorktown Schools in an effort to spread the word of Cardinal football.
The majority of the team spent the lunch hours at downtown Muncie handing out posters to local businesses. The tight ends hit the north side of the town along McGalliard Road. Meanwhile, the specialists along with former Yorktown players Riley Neal and Riley Miller visited Yorktown Elementary and Yorktown Middle Schools during the lunch hour.
If you missed your chance to pick up a 2015 Ball State football poster, you can grab one at any Muncie or Yorktown McDonald's. The posters are available on campus at Worthen Arena inside the gate one entrance.
The next preseason event on the calendar is Fan Jam this Saturday evening, Aug. 15 at Scheumann Stadium from 5 to 7 p.m.
