Hague Paces Women?s Golf on Day 2 at Rio Verde

RIO VERDE, Ariz. -- The Ball State women's golf team moved up two spots Saturday with a second-round 308 at the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational.
Jenna Hague led the Cardinals with a 3-over par round of 75 on the White Wing Course at Rio Verde Country Club. Ball State also counted a 76 from Karley Dobis, a 77 from Kelsey Sear and an 80 from Allison Lindley.
Seton Hall continues to sit atop the team leaderboard at 594 (+18), though its lead is down to two shots over second-place Toledo.
Ball State improved on its opening round by 10 shots. The Cardinals sit in 15th place with a two-round score of 626.
Erin McClure of Seton Hall owns the individual lead at even-par 144. The Pirates have two players among the top 3.
Lindley and Mary Ellen Romero are the top Ball State players in a tie for 49th at 155 through two rounds. Romero is competing as an individual. Hague (156) is tied for 56th and Dobis (157) is tied for 64th.
