Gymnastics at Kentucky for Final Regular Season Meet

Ball State's gymnastics team will compete at Kentucky with Pittsburgh Friday in the team's final regular-season meet of the season.
The Cardinals are coming off a meet at Kent State where they recorded the highest team score in school history with a 195.500.
Denasiha Christian, a junior, was named the Mid-American Conference Gymnast of the Week for her performance in the team's meets at Illinois State and at Kent State last week. Christian took first place on the vault at Illinois State with a 9.8 and vs. Kent State with a 9.85 mark. In addition, she placed first on the floor at Illinois State with a 9.85 and was second on the beam against the Redbirds and second on the floor at Kent State.
Kentucky is ranked 22nd in the nation and is coming off a victory over No. 9 Auburn last week. Kentucky posted a season-high team score of 196.575 in the win to improve to 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the Southeastern Conference.
Pittsburgh suffered a loss to North Carolina in its last meet to fall to 2-10 on the season.
Ball State's meet at Kentucky with Pittsburgh will be at 7 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum on the UK campus and will be Senior Night for the Wildcats.
