WBB Set To Play Austin Peay Monday At 7 P.M.

- Ball State concludes its two-game homestand against the Ohio Valley Conference's Austin Peay, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. The Cardinals improved to 1-1 on the season last Thursday after Ball State defeated Western Kentucky, 74-60.
- Senior guard Nathalie Fontaine tied her career-high after a 30-point performance Thursday night against Western Kentucky. Fontaine scored 24 of her points and grabbed eight of her 12 rebounds in the second half alone. She also went 12-for-12 from the free throw line.
- The Cardinals will play the Governors for the only the fourth time in program history. Ball State leads the all-time series record 2-1. Austin Peay defeated the Cardinals 79-66 in the schools' last meeting in Clarksville, Tennessee on Dec. 1, 2012. The Cardinals earned a 59-55 victory at Worthen Arena over Austin Peay in 2011 and then won by a score of 68-59 at a neutral site in 2007-08.
- The Governors opened the season with a 67-58 loss to California Clarksville on Nov. 13, before earning back-to-back wins over Christian Brothers (74-55) Nov. 14 and Trevecca (97-75) Nov. 16. Austin Peay is coming off of a 75-60 road loss at fellow Mid-American Conference affiliate Miami (Ohio) on Thursday in Oxford. The Governors were led by Tiasha Gray with 18 points. Madison Rich had 13 points and Tearra Banks added 11 points and eight rebounds. Austin Peay shot only 31.3 percent against the RedHawks. The Governors fell to Wright State, 77-56, Saturday night before making the trip to Muncie.
- The Cardinals are now 58-53 (.523) all-time in the month of November. Ball State owns a 3-4 record on Nov. 23. At Ball State, head women's basketball coach Brady Sallee has posted a 2-1 mark on this date. The last time the Cardinals played on Nov. 23 was in 2014 which resulted in a 69-56 loss at No. 12 Louisville.
