The Ball State men's basketball team closes out the non-conference portion of its schedule Saturday at home against Bethune-Cookman on “Take a Kid to the Game Day.”
Fans purchasing an adult ticket can receive two kids' tickets for free.
It will be just the second game in a 14-day stretch for the Cardinals, who have had a relatively light schedule over the holiday break.
Sunday's meeting will be the first ever between Ball State (4-6) and Bethune-Cookman (3-10), just as the Cardinals played Longwood for the first time last weekend.
Ball State defeated Longwood 69-64 behind 15 points from Sean Sellers and 11 each from Matt Kamieniecki and Francis Kiapway.
Kamieniecki, the only player to start all 10 games for the Cardinals, is the only player in the Mid-American Conference to rank among the top 10 in rebounds per game (7.2, 8th) and steals per game (1.5, T-10th).
Bethune-Cookman comes into Saturday's game with losses in four straight, most recently a 51-47 defeat Tuesday at The Citadel. The Wildcats will be playing their fifth consecutive road game.
Ball State is preparing to start conference play with three games against the top three teams in the current MAC West Division standings – Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
