Women?s Volleyball To Host Alumni Match Saturday

MUNCIE, Ind. - - The Ball State women's volleyball team will host its annual Alumni Match at 9 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 16) inside Worthen Arena. Admission to the contest is free.

Led by fifth-year head coach Steve Shondell, the Cardinals return 10 student-athletes from last season's squad which posted a 24-8 (12-4 MAC) record and won a share of the league's West Division title. Added to the mix this season are five incoming freshman and one transfer.

The alumni squad is slated to include four of the Cardinals' five seniors from 2013; Kylee Baker, Catie Fredrich, Mindy Marx and Jacqui Seidel. Also scheduled to suit up for the alumni are 2010 seniors Alyssa Rio and Karin Caudill.
