Women?s Golfers at State Am, North & South Am

Five Ball State players are in the field this week at the Indiana Women's Golf Association State Amateur Championship, while Jenna Hague is competing at the Women's North & South Amateur Championship in North Carolina.
Rising juniors Karley Dobis and Brenna Obergfell are at the state amateur, along with incoming freshmen Kayla Adamson, Morgan Nadaline and Mary Ellen Romero.
The state amateur is being contested at Tippecanoe Country Club in Monticello, Ind. The three-round event began Tuesday and runs through Thursday.
The North & South Amateur also started Tuesday on the No. 8 course at Pinehurst. One of the most prestigious amateur events in the country, it features 54 holes of stroke play followed by four rounds of match play to determine a champion.
