Obergfell, Sear Share Lead at Marian Classic

INDIANAPOLIS -- Ball State women's golfers Brenna Obergfell and Kelsey Sear are tied for the lead through one round of the Marian University Spring Classic.
Both players turned in scores of 80 (+8) in Monday's opening round. They hold a three-stroke lead on the rest of field with one round to play at Broadmoor Country Club.
Obergfell, Sear and Meghan McDougall are competing as individuals at this week's tournament. McDougall opened with a round of 85 (+13) and sits in sixth place in the field of 27 golfers.
The second and final round will be played Tuesday with the action starting at 10 a.m.
Olivet Nazarene holds a 15-shot lead through one round on the team leaderboard. Ball State is not competing as a team.
