Gymnasts Travel to Nationally Ranked Ohio State

Ball State's gymnastics team travels to Columbus, Ohio, to face the nation's 24th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday on Senior Day for four OSU seniors in St. John Arena.
The Cardinals are coming off a loss at Illinois-Chicago last weekend, while Ohio State dropped a 196.175-194.950 decision last Sunday at West Virginia.
Ball State's Jessica Leko is coming off a performance at UIC where she was named the Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week. Leko, a junior transfer student who is seeing competition the past three weeks for the first time in over two years, scored a career high 9.85 on beam, including earning a 9.9 from one of the judges. Leko's performance was a contributing factor to the Cardinals scoring a season high 48.85 as a team on the beam.
Ball State will return home for a March 14 meet with Eastern Michigan as the Cardinals celebrate their own Senior Day. Admission to all Ball State home gymnastics meet are free of charge.
