Leko Named MAC Gymnastics Specialist of the Week

Jessica Leko, a junior on the Ball State gymnastics team, has been named the Mid-American Conference Specialist of the Week for her performance at Illinois-Chicago last week.
A transfer student who is seeing competition the past three weeks for the first time in over two years, Leko scored a career high 9.85 on beam, including earning a 9.9 from one of the judges.
Leko's performance was a contributing factor to the Cardinals scoring a season high 48.85 as a team on the beam.
Ball State suffered a loss in the meet at UIC, and will compete Saturday at Ohio State at 4 p.m.
