Soccer Set for Eight-Game Spring Slate
March 19, 2014 | Soccer
The Ball State soccer team will play an eight-game spring schedule over the next month at the Briner Sports Complex, beginning Sunday with a pair of contests.
The Cardinals will host Findlay at 1 p.m. Sunday, followed by Grace College at 3 p.m. The University of Indianapolis will also be in town to play the same opponents Sunday on the football field inside Scheumann Stadium.
Highlights of the spring schedule also include a March 30 meeting with the Haiti National Team and a game against Ball State alumni as part of an April 5 doubleheader.
The Cardinals also played Haiti last spring, posting a 1-0 win over one of the top national teams in the Caribbean region.
Ball State is coming off its first ever Mid-American Conference Tournament championship game appearance in 2013. The Cardinals finished 11-7-4, reaching double-digit wins for the first time since 2007 and improving their winning percentage for the fourth straight season.
