Meet Football's Army Scout Team
October 02, 2014 | Football
Army football is famous for running its vaunted triple option attack. With it, the Black Knights are consistently among the nation's leading rushing teams, currently ranking eighth for 2014.
Preparing for that offense is almost as hard as stopping it. For a week and a half now, the Cards have practice taking on cut blocks and reading their keys while playing the staunchest assignment football there is. The guys responsible for that prep are the scout team.
Meet this year's Army scouts, with Muncie native McKenzee Nash playing quarterback, and linebacker Stephan Martin as fullback Larry Dixon.
The Cardinals take on Army Satruday at noon at Michie Stadium. Coverage on 104.1 WLBC begins at 11am. For more information on Ball State football, follow the team on twitter at @BallStateFB.
