The White team came out on top at 126 to the Red team's score of 107. Magley also opened the intrasquad meet with a first place finish with teammates Sydney Harris (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider), Katie Horn (Nobelsville, Ind./Nobelsville) and Mudd in the 400 medley relay.
"I am happy with our performances today. It gave us a chance to see where we are and what we need to continue to work on," Ball State swimming and diving head coach Kristy Castillo said. "We had some ladies who executed well that showed our good practice habits paying off."
The team took time to recognize the many alumni who have helped to make the Ball State women's swimming and diving program what it is today during the diving intermission. Four alumni were in attendance for the event.
The women's swimming and diving team will officially open the 2014 season Saturday, Oct. 18 when they travel to West Lafayette, Ind. for the Indiana Intercollegiate meet.
