Brogna Withdraws from School for Medical Reasons
January 31, 2014 | Men's Basketball
MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State men's basketball player Chase Brogna, who has been out of action since suffering a concussion in early December, has withdrawn from classes for medical reasons.
Brogna, a sophomore guard from Houston, Texas, intends to return to the program next season.
“We fully support Chase in his decision to leave school for the remainder of the semester,” Ball State head coach James Whitford said. “The doctors agree it is in his best interest, medically. We look forward to having him rejoin our team in the future.”
Brogna played in two games this season before being sidelined. He played in 15 games with one start as a freshman last season.
