Gymnastics Team Hosting Bowling Green Friday at 7

Ball State's gymnastics team will host Bowling Green Friday at 7 p.m. in Irving Gym of the Student Wellness and Recreation Center. Admission is free of charge.

The Cardinals are returning to Muncie, Ind., after posting a victory over Big Ten Conference opponent Iowa in their last home meet.

Brooke Evans has the team's top vault score this season with a 9.800, while Angela Durkac has the Cardinals' top bars score with a 9.775.

Samantha Santos is leading the team on the balance beam with a team best 9.80 this season, while Denasiha Christian has posted a team top mark of 9.825 on the floor.

Ball State is 2-5 on the season and 0-2 against Mid-American Conference teams this season, while Bowling Green is 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the MAC.
