SCOUTING BALL STATE: The Cardinals are 14-14 overall and 4-5 in the Mid-American Conference after taking two out of three games at Western Michigan in league action last weekend . . . Ball State will host Bowling Green Tuesday in a non-conference game before travelling to Purdue for a Wednesday non-conference tilt . . . The Cardinals will host MAC foe Central Michigan Friday through Sunday at Ball Diamond.
SCOUTING BOWLING GREEN: The Falcons are 7-19 overall and 3-6 in the Mid-American Conference after losing two of three games at home to Eastern Michigan last weekend . . . Patrick Lancaster leads the team with a .305 batting average, while T.J. Losby is hitting at a .292 pace.
SCOUTING PURDUE: The Boilermakers are 11-18 overall and 4-5 in the Big Ten Conference after losing two of three contests at home to league opponent Northwestern over the weekend . . . Purdue will play at Indiana State Tuesday prior to hosting Ball State Wednesday.
