Women?s Golf Washed Out Friday at Colonel Classic

RIO VERDE, Ariz. -- The first day of the 2013 Rio Verde Invitational -- where the Ball State women's golf team is playing this weekend -- has been washed out.

Rain in the area made for unplayable conditions Friday on the White Wing course at Rio Verde Country Club. The 54-hole event will be shortened to 36 holes with 18 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday.

Saturday's first round will begin with a 12 p.m. MT (2 p.m. ET) shotgun start. Sunday's final round will begin at 8 a.m. MT as scheduled. Live scoring is available at www.golfstat.com.
