Men's Tennis Falls to No. 33 Indiana, 6-1

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Big Ten foe No. 33 Indiana Sunday at the IU Indoor Tennis center. With the loss the Cardinals fell to 3-3 overall while the Hoosiers improve to 4-5 on the season.
The Hoosiers took the early 1-0 edge over the Cardinals after sweeping all three matches.
In singles action the lone winner for Ball State was Austin Smith after his 6-1, 6-3 victory over Elliott Yee at the No. 6 position. Ray Leonard played a close match against Isade Juneau but lost in three sets.
The Ball State men's tennis team continues action at home when it hosts Brown Friday at 2 p.m. in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.
