LANGLEY, British Columbia, Canada - The Ball State University women's basketball team captured its first victory on its foreign tour Friday, after posting a 82-52 victory over Trinity Western University.
Sophomore guard Shelbie Justice led the way with 16-points, while classmate and fellow guard Brittany Carter added 15. Junior forwards Jazmin Hitchens and Katie Murphy also scored in double figures with Hitchens having 11 points and Murphy with 10.
The Ball State women's basketball team continues competition Saturday, when it faces UBC Select at 4 p.m. (EST).
