Women's Golf in Third at MAC Championship

Ball State's women's golf team is in third place at the nine team Mid-American Conference Championships at the Hawthorns Golf and Country Club in Fishers, Ind.
The Cardinals managed a 298-322=620 and is 12 strokes out of the lead. Kent State is leading the event with a 608, while Toledo is second with a 613. Akron is fourth with a 634 and Eastern Michigan rounds out the top five with a 635.
Jenna Hague is Ball State's top competitor and is in sixth place after managing a 74-80 in the first two rounds. Zoe Camus is tied for seventh with a 76-79, and Katie Windlan is tied for ninth with a 73-83. Autumn Duke is tied for 11th with a 75-82, while Meghan Perry is tied for 22nd after carding an 80-81.
Sunday's final round is scheduled to begin with 8:30 a.m. tee times at the Hawthorns.
