Gymnastics Opens Season Sunday at Illinois State

Ball State's gymnastics team will compete at Northern Illinois Saturday in a Mid-American Conference meet.

The Cardinals are 1-3 on the season, including an 0-2 MAC mark.

In last week's meet at home vs. Kent State, the Cardinals' Julie Cotter won the bars with a 9.800. Aftyn Siemer placed second on the floor with a 9.800, third on the beam with a 9.700 and fifth on the vault with a 9.675.
