Ball State Sports Link: WBB Remote Behind The Scenes
February 14, 2012 | Women's Basketball
Ball State Sports Link, the nation's first fully-immersive sports media and production program, produces numerous live events each year with a 40-foot, HD production truck.
The broadcasts air online, locally in Muncie on WIPB, across the state on Comcast Indiana and nationally on Fox College Sports.
SL's Kevin Thurman takes you "behind-the-scenes" of recent SL student production.
About Ball State Sports Link:
Ball State Sports Link allows students to write, report, shoot, produce and host a variety of sports programs. The program is the first and only academic program in the nation where students are totally immersed in sports and electronic media. www.ballstatesports.com/sportslink
During the semester, students will produce a broad range of media from live remote productions, live-to-tape events, television programs (WIPB-TV, Comcast Indiana, ESPN Networks, Fox Sports Net, Cardinal Vision 57), student-athlete features and webcasts.
